Choir:
The choir is based at Emmanuel Church Holcombe and sings at the majority of the Sunday services. It is a traditional SATB four part group with affiliation to the Royal School of Church Music. Under the direction of Mel Harrison the choir  undertake a wide range of music styles ranging from the medieval to the 21st century. The monthly Choral Evensong using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer rite is normally held on the third Sunday of each month and is an opportunity for the choir to provide a traditional choral service with sung psalms, canticles and an anthem. Most Sunday Communion services are also sung to one or other setting and when appropriate the Sunday morning services may also include choir items.

The choir rehearses in Emmanuel Church for an hour on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm and new members are always welcome. If you’d like to know more contact Mel by email or phone to 01204 887161.
Singing Practices:
Hawkshaw, Fridays, 7.15pm

The singing group leads the music for the Sunday morning services, sings as people come into church, and during Communion, and contributes special items for special occasions such as the Carol Service. New members are always very welcome.
